Deactivation of the front
passenger airbag
You must deactivate the front
left-hand airbag before fitting a
rear-facing child seat on the front
passenger seat.
To deactivate the airbag: switch off
the ignition, insert the ignition key
in the lock 1, push and turn the lock
to the OFF position and remove the
key while holding it in the OFF
position. The airbag is deactivated.
With the ignition switched on,
check that the warning light 2,
AIRBAG OFF, is lit up on the
dashboard.
This indicator light remains lit to
confirm that you can fit a child seat,
as the left-hand airbag has been
deactivated.
