CRUISE CONTROL - SPEED LIMITER: cruising function (continued)
Switching on
Press side switch 1
The indicator light lights up in the
instrument panel and the on-board
computer enters cruise control
mode.
Activating cruise control
At a stable speed (approximately
20mphor30km/h)andinthe
correct gear (for vehicles with
manual gearboxes), press switch 2:
the speed is stored.
Driving
When a cruise control speed is
stored you can lift your foot off the
accelerator pedal.
Changing the cruise control
speed
The cruise control speed may be
changed by acting (pressing
repeatedly or continuously) on:
- button 2 to increase speed,
- button 5 to reduce speed.
If the car has the temporary display
function, the limited speed is
displayed for approximately
30 seconds.
Exceeding the cruise control
speed
In the event of an emergency
Thecruisingspeedmaybe
exceeded at any time by pressing
the accelerator pedal.
The speed flashes on the instrument
panel (on-board computer) to
inform you that the cruise control
speed is being exceeded.
When the emergency has passed,
release the accelerator pedal: your
vehicle will automatically return to
the speed previously selected and
the indicator light will go out.
Impossible to operate at the speed
selected
If the adjusted speed cannot be
maintained by the system (for
example in the event of a steep
incline), the speed will flash on the
instrument panel (on-board
computer).
