CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
WATER TEMPERATURE
Extremely hot water could cause a glass sink to
crack or shatter. As a general rule, if the water is
too hot to the touch, then it is too hot to be in a
glass sink.
SANITIZATION
Glass sinks should be cleaned on a regular basis
in order to avoid any mineral or bacteria buildup.
With a soft sponge or cloth, scrub the glass with
a circular motion. Use a standard glass cleaner,
we recommend Windex® or Crystal Rain®, or
a mixture of vinegar and water. Rinse and wipe-
down with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners
or scouring pads which may scratch the glass.
Be careful when cleaning the exterior of a glass
sink as it might have a foil or printed application
which could be damaged by scrubbing.
DAMAGE
Do not store heavy or sharp objects above glass
sinks. If they fall, they can scratch or shatter the
sink. A chipped or cracked glass sink cannot be
repaired.
HARD WATER
Wiping the sink dry after each use is important
in order to avoid spots, especially if you have
hard water. Long-standing hard water spots on
glass can create mineral stains which cannot be
removed.
FROSTED GLASS
Frosted glass exteriors can be cleaned with
standard ammonia-based glass cleaners.
Using paper towels, newspaper or an abrasive
sponge, wipe the frosted glass sink in a circular
motion. Frosted glass is much tougher than
“normal” glass due to the process it underwent
to achieve its appearance, so it can be scrubbed
vigorously.
