f) Conguring the emergency code
The emergency code provides protection for the user in the event that he/she is forced to open
the door under duress. It works like a normal user code and enables output 1 to open the door.
In addition, the emergency output is automatically enabled. This output reports the incident to a
security system or security personnel.
Theemergencycodecanbe4–8digitslong.Inautomaticconrmationmode,theemergency
code must have the same number of digits as the master code.
Youcancongure10differentemergencycodesforuserIDs0–9.
Entering the emergency code permits all subsequent operations. It cannot be bypassed by a
security system or locking functions.

Choose an emergency code that you will easily remember in an emergency. For ex-
ample, the emergency code could differ from the user code by one digit: if the user
code is 1357, the emergency code could be set to 3357 or 1358.
Programming example
1. Enter the master code and press the * key to enable programming mode.
In this example, the master code is 3289.

2. Set the emergency code to 3357.
