If you enable start/stop mode with a 2 or 3-digit start code, the entire code is required to dis-
able the output. This mode can be used to allow personnel to activate a system (e.g. an alarm
system) and ensure that it can only be disabled by the owner.
You can also user the super user code to enable/disable the outputs.

j) Output 1: Electric lock systems
There are two types of lock systems: “Fail-Secure” and “Fail-Safe”. Ensure that you select the
correct locking system for your security system. The keypad supports both lock systems. Use
the corresponding program code to select the desired system.

Lock system codes
0 Fail-Secure Door stays locked when power is removed.
1 Fail-Safe Output 1 is enabled/the door is opened when the power supply is
removed.
When installing the lock, ensure that the electric lock system does not deliver an
excessive current. “Fail-Secure” systems may deliver high peak currents.
