12. Simplied software version
If there is only one user code for each output and you do not require any special features, you
canuseasimpliedsoftwareversion.NouserIDsarerequiredforthissoftwareversion.The
simpliedsoftwareversionisdesignedforusersthatpreferaneasysetupwiththestandardset-
tings.Skipthischapterifyoudonotwishtousedthesimpliedsoftwareversion.
Important Information
• Youcanswitchbetweenthefullandsimpliedsoftwareversions.
• All user and master codes consist of 4 digits.
• Beforeswitchingtothesimpliedsoftwareversion,ensurethatthemastercodeis4digits
long.
• Switchingtothesimpliedsoftwareversiontakes2–3seconds.Donotenteracodeduring
this time. The keypad will beep twice when the system version changes.
• Afterswitchingtothesimpliedsoftwareversion,thekeypadswitchestoautomaticconrma-
tion mode.
• To revert to the full system version, enter the reset code 8901.
• Thesimpliedsoftwareversionsimpliesthecodeentryprocess.Allprogramoptionsfunc-
tion like the full software version.
• Refertotheoverviewbelowfordetailsonprogrammingoptionsforthesimpliedsoftware
version.
