b) Standard wiring for a single code lock connected to a master
system
• In this example, the green and red LEDs are connected. These are used to indicate the
outputs, alarm, program mode and other features.
• Refer to the instructions for example 1.
• Output 2 is used to enable/disable the alarm. Refer to the instructions for the connected
security system. Note the output type, maximum currents/voltages, circuit type (NO or NC)
and start/stop features.
• Connect the outputs on the tamper monitor to a 24-hour NC security system input and the
emergency code output on the corresponding NO input.
• Connect all security systems to a common GND (output 15) to prevent malfunctions.
