The KT-200 Pipe Thawing Unit provides continuous heating to quickly thaw

metal pipes. With this lightweight, versatile unit, there is no need to dig or tear apart walls.
Simply attach the clamps to the metal pipe on each side of the frozen section and the pipe is
thawed within minutes.
• Approved by CSA to CSA and UL standards (115 V only).
• Continuous Operation: The KT-200 will operate continuously without requiring any “cool-
down” periods. There is no tripping of the unit or need to turn the unit off during the
thawing process. Simply attach the cables to the pipe, turn the unit on and let it do its job
– continuously from start to finish.
• Lightweight: Weighing under 30 lbs., each unit can be easily transported to the most dif
-
ficult locations such as attics.
• Versatile: With 4 output levels, the KT-200 can be used on 4' to 150' lengths of pipe. The
KT-200’s amp meter allows the user to select the proper output level for maximum current
draw and minimum thawing time.
• Powerful: The KT-200 operates on a standard 115V, 15 amp outlet. It produces 250-400 amps
of thawing power.

Pipe Freezing Tool Avoids the Cost and
Inconvenience of a System Shutdown and Purge.
The SuperFreeze Pipe Freezer is an easy-to-use pipe freezing unit that allows the contractor to
keep water systems operating while making repairs. The RIDGID SF-2500 is a mini-refrigera-
tion unit that circulates self-contained refrigerant to its aluminum freeze heads. This forms an
ice plug in as little as 6 minutes in

⁄2" copper tube and can be used with up to 2

⁄2" tube or 2"
pipe. Once the pipe is plugged, repairs can be made while the ice plug is maintained by the
unit. Now includes a bottle of specially formulated freeze gel to speed freezing. Apply the gel
to freeze heads before placing on pipe.
