ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR
2-TIER CANDELARIA CHANDELIER

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. SHUT OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AT FUSE BOX/ CIRCUIT BREAKER.
2. Remove all parts from carton. Do not throw away any parts.
3. Remove quick link (H) from hang straight (G). Keep quick link (H) attached to loop (I).
4. Remove cross bar (B) from hang straight (G) by unthreading tube (C) from hang straight
(G). Afx cross bar (B), including threaded tube (C), to ceiling outlet box using cross bar
screws (D) provided.
5. Carefully slide threaded collar (F) and canopy (E) down extensions (J) until they rest on
housing (K).
6. Measure desired drop for xture to hang and add/remove extension tubes (J) to reach
desired position. Guide wiring through extension tubes before threading tubes together.
**TO ADD/REMOVE EXTENSIONS: (Un)Thread the threaded nipple of one extension out
of/ into the threaded opening of the next extension. Make sure wiring is pulled tight when
threading extensions together to prevent damage to the wire.**
7. Thread bottom extension tube (J) into threaded opening in housing (K).
8. As shown in Figure A, Connect quick link (L), on the end of cable (M) to bracket (N).
Connect quick link (O) to bracket (N). Repeat step for remaining cables.
9. Connect quick link (P) to bracket (Q), as shown in Figure B. Repeat step for remaining
cables.
10. Lift xture to ceiling and secure quick link (H) to hang straight (G). Carefully guide wire
through hang straight (G) and threaded tube (C) into ceiling outlet box.
11. Pull wiring from ceiling outlet box and make proper electrical connections described in
steps 12-14. A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN IS RECOMMENDED.
12. Attach ground wire from xture (green or silver in color) to ground wire from outlet box.
Fasten wires together with wire nut (A) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
13. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color or smooth side of wire to hot wire from outlet
box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A) and tightly wrap connection with electrical
tape.
*These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read
completely before beginning the installation of your xture.
*WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED
ELECTRICIAN.
*Turn off power at switch before replacing bulbs, making sure xture has had sufcient time
to cool down.
*DO NOT subject the xture to any shock while lit as shattering of bulbs may result.

14. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of wire) to
neutral wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A) and
tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
15. Carefully push wire connections back into ceiling outlet box.
16. Slide canopy (E) up extensions (J) and hold ush against ceiling. To
secure position of canopy (E), slide collar (F) up extensions (J) and
thread onto hang straight (G).
17. Install thirty (30) 40W MAX. Type A bulbs into sockets (R).
***To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive
cleaners.***
