Performance
Performing with a Variety of Sounds
The HP201 contains 20 different internal tones.
You can also select a tone by pressing the [TONE] button and a key to which a tone
is assigned.
The “Grand Piano 1” tone is selected when the instrument is turned on.

Press the [TONE] button.
The button’s indicator will blink.

Press a key to which a tone is assigned.
The [TONE] button’s indicator will change from blinking to lit.
Keys to which tones are assigned: A0–E2 keys
The tone you’ve selected is heard when you finger the keyboard.

While you’re selecting a sound,
playing the keyboard won’t
produce sound.
You can also switch sounds by
holding down the [TONE]
button and pressing a key to
which a sound is assigned.
