Connecting External Devices
Connecting to Audio Equipment
You can connect audio devices to play the sound of the
HP201 through the speakers of your audio system, or to
record your performance on a tape recorder or other
recording device. When connecting, please use an audio
cable with a standard phone plug (sold separately).
Connection Examples
NOTE
To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or
other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off
the power on all devices before making any connections.
NOTE
Some connection cables contain resistors. Do not use
cables that incorporate resistors for connecting to this unit.
The use of such cables can cause the sound level to be
extremely low, or impossible to hear. For information on
cable specifications, contact the manufacturer of the
cable.
