Editing the Eects of a Tone
Heres how to edit the MFX settings or the settings of the
compressor and equalizer used by the drum part.
1. In the top screen, press the [EFFECTS] button.
The EFFECTS ROUTING screen will appear.

value dial to edit its value.
Editing the MFX (Multi-Eect) Settings
Heres how to make detailed settings for the multi-eect.
MFX settings are handled as part of the tone; your edits are saved
as a user tone.
1. In the EFFECTS ROUTING screen, move the cursor to “MFX”
and press the [ENTER] button.
2. Use the cursor buttons to select an item, and use the
value dial to edit its value.
Editing the COMP (Compressor) and EQ
(Equalizer) Settings
Heres how to make compressor and equalizer settings for the drum
kit of a Drum COMP + EQ Assign part.
There are six compressor/equalizer sets; for each instrument (DRUM
INST) in the drum kit, you can select the compressor/equalizer set
that will be used.
1. Use the PART [ ] [ ] buttons to select the part that is
specied as the Drum Comp+EQ Assign part.
“COMP+EQ” will appear in the screen.
MEMO
The Drum COMP + EQ Assign part to which the compressor and
equalizer are applied can be specied in the “GENERAL tab (p. 32)
of the Studio Set Common screen.
2. In the EFFECTS ROUTING screen, move the cursor to
Comp+EQ” and press the [ENTER] button.
3. Use the cursor buttons to select an item, and use the
value dial to edit its value.
MEMO
In the EFFECTS ROUTING screen, you can place the cursor at the
location shown in the illustration and press the [ENTER] button
to access the COMP + EQ output setting screen.
Settings for COMP + EQ output can be saved as parameters of
the studio set.
