6. ECO-SOL MAX ink model: Installing the Ink Cartridges

Continuously, clean the print heads in the order of the slots 3 and 4, the slots 5 and 6,

and then the slots 7 and 8 as following the on-screen instructions.

Insert and remove the SOL INK cleaning cartridge and dummy cartridge from and into the slot with the

slot number indicated on the screen. If the slot number is incorrect, lling with ink will fail.

Insert the ink cartridges of the respective colors.



Gently shake the ink cartridges of the re-

spective colors before inserting them to

the slots.



Insert the ink cartridges into the slots 7 and 8.

Check the cartridge-slot label to conrm that the ink cartridges are inserted

into the right place.

Insert the dummy cartridges to the slots 1 to 6.

With the same procedure of

, insert the dummy car-

tridges.

Pull out the dummy cartridges from the slots 1 to 6.

When having diculty pulling out the dummy cartridges, insert the retainer used in the

procedure

into the slots to make the task easier. For instructions for use of the

retainer, see the procedure

it easily by tilting it slightly forward.)
