Note that the lens mount flange has a
female socket connector for the lens motor
on the right side of the flange.
Note that the lens assembly motor has a
male socket connector.
6. Hold the replacement lens assembly with
the motor facing upward. Carefully insert
the back of the lens assembly into the hole
in the lens flange.
DO NOT PUSH THE LENS ASSEMBLY
ALL THE WAY IN. Only push the lens
assembly in far enough so that the front of
the lens motor is clearly behind the
projector chassis cover.
7. Carefully rotate the lens assembly 90
degrees clockwise until the motor socket
connector is aligned with the connector on
the flange. Then, gently push the lens
assembly in until it is seated flush against
the flange and the connectors have seated.
8. Secure the lens assembly to the projector flange with the three Allen screws that you
loosened in Step
4.
