DESCRIPTION A fast evaporating solvent used to thin two part epoxies and fiberglass resins.
USES For effectively thinning two-part coatings and fiberglass resins, and for softening paints
and clear finishes.

MIXING Use Acetone only where specifically recommended by the product manufacturer.
Always follow the paint manufacture’s instructions for the proper reduction ratios. Do
not use more than recommended.
APPLICATION Not recommended for most conventional oil base paints, stains, varnishes or lacquers.
Use with caution on any type of rubber, plastic, asphalt tile, linoleum or synthetic
fabric. Acetone may soften or dissolve these surfaces. Softens most paints and clear
finishes. Acetone is extremely flammable. Do not use as a cleaner or degreaser or to
remove linoleum tile adhesive or carpet adhesive. For uses of this type, use a non-
flammable product.
