OPERATION
LED FUNCTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGING
See Figure 3, page 8.
NOTE: The LED feedback described below is for battery charging only. The LEDs function differently when the product is
used to charge USB devices. See Using the Charger With a USB Device for details.

When battery pack reaches cooled temperature, charger begins charge
mode.
Cold battery pack
When battery pack reaches warmed temperature, charger begins
charge mode.
Deeply discharged
Charger conditions battery until normal voltage is reached, then begins
charge mode.
Defective
Defective Flashing Flashing OFF Battery pack or charger is defective.
• If defective, try to repeat the conditions a second time by removing and reinstalling the battery pack. If the LED status repeats a
second time, try charging a different battery.
• If a different battery charges normally, dispose of the defective pack (see Maintenance section).
• If a different battery also indicates “Defective,” the charger may be defective.
Charging Battery Pack
Fast charging OFF Flashing OFF Battery is being charged.
Battery Pack is Ready
Battery full
OFF ON* OFF Battery charging is complete.
*Charger LED will remain ON for approximately 5 minutes when charging is complete. When the battery is
100% charged, the battery LEDs will all turn off.
