FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Should the mower remain plugged into the charger when not in use?
A. Yes, it is recommended to continually charge the mower when not in use.
Q. What is the recommended tire pressure, and how often should I check the air
pressure in the tires?
A. For best performance, we recommend a tire pressure of 20 psi. Check the tire
pressure before each use.
Q. What can cause the blades to stop during use?
A. Check the battery level indicator. The deck motor will turn off when battery
power gets low to allow you enough time to drive back to the charging loca-
tion. Drive back and charge battery immediately.
If battery level is not low, try slowing down and/or raising the cutting deck to
a higher level. High load applications can also cause one or both deck motors
to stop.
Q. Sometimes the mower accelerates when coasting down hill and sometimes it
doesn’t. Why is that?
A. For your safety and better performance, the mower is designed to automatically
limit its speed when traveling on a slope. This may cause fluctuations in speed.
Q. Why does the mower make a beeping sound when I drive in reverse?
A. To alert anyone nearby of the mower’s location.
Q. When operating this mower, how do I bring the mower to a complete stop?
A. To stop the mower, you must press the brake pedal on the operator’s left side.
This is not a hydrostatic drive mower and will not come to a complete stop by
just releasing the accelerator.
Q. Why does the mower make a beeping sound when I leave the seat?
A. The parking brake has not been engaged and/or the mower key is still in-
stalled and in the ON position. Always remove the key when the mower is not
in use.
Q. When should I use the parking brake?
A. Always engage the parking brake before getting off the
mower.
Q. Can I rinse off the mower deck with a garden hose?
A. We strongly recommend against using water to clean. Use
a blower or air compressor instead.
