Power off the monitor and computer. 2. Disconnect the power cord from the monitor. Hold the power cable by the plug and do not touch the cable with wet hands. 2 2.1 Using "MHL(Mobile High-Definition Link)" The "MHL" function is available on the S24B750V / S27B750V model only. "MHL" (Mobile High-Definition Link) This feature allows you to enjoy videos and photos (imported from a connected mobile device that supports MHL) on the screen of the product. S24B750V / S27B750V MHL z To use the MHL function, you need an MHL-certified mobile device. You can check if your mobile device is MHL certified on the device manufacturer's website.
2 Using "MHL(Mobile High-Definition Link)" 2.1.1 Using "MHL" 1 Connect the USB port on the mobile device to the [HDMI IN 2 / MHL] port on the product using the MHL cable. HDMI IN 2 2 z When the MHL cable is used, [HDMI IN 2 / MHL] is the only port on the product that supports the MHL function. z A mobile device should be purchased separately. Connect the DC power adapter to the product and a power outlet. (For details, refer to "3.2 Connecting the Power".
2 Using "MHL(Mobile High-Definition Link)" When the mobile device is in power-saving mode When the mobile device is in power-saving mode, the following message will appear in place of the MHL screen. To display the MHL screen, deactivate power-saving mode. MHL device is in sleep mode. When the mobile device is not connected or does not support MHL z When the mobile device is not connected to the product or does not support the MHL function, the following message will appear.
2 Using "MHL(Mobile High-Definition Link)" 2.1.2 Disabling "MHL" Disabling MHL by using the [MHL] button When MHL is active, press the [MHL] button. The MHL function will be disabled. The number and locations of ports on source devices may differ from device to device. z Do not connect the power cable until all connections are completed. Connecting the power cable during connection may damage the product. z 3.

Ensure you connect a source device first before connecting the power cable. z Select a connection method suitable for your PC. Connecting parts may differ in different products. Connection Using the D-SUB Cable (Analogue Type) RGB IN 1 2 Connect the D-SUB cable to the [RGB IN] port on the back of the product and the RGB port on the PC.
3 Connecting and Using a Source Device The S24B750H / S27B750H model does not support sound. Connection Using an HDMI-DVI Cable HDMI IN 1 Connect the HDMI-DVI cable to the HDMI port on the back of the product and the DVI port on the PC. 2 Connect the DC power adapter to the product and a power socket. Next, turn on the power switch on the PC. (For details, refer to "3.2 Connecting the Power".

Select a language on the product and change the resolution on your PC to the optimum setting. The optimal resolution for this monitor is as follows: 1920 x 1080 60Hz Use the above settings to set the resolution on your PC.

4 4.1 Screen Setup Configure the screen settings such as brightness and color tone. Brightness You can adjust the general brightness of the picture. (Range: 0~100) A higher value will make the picture appear brighter. z SAMSUNG This menu is not available when MAGIC Bright is set to Dynamic Contrast mode. z Not available if Eco Saving is set to On. 4.1.1 Configuring Brightness 1 Press any button on the front of the product to display the Key guide.

4 4.9 Screen Setup HDMI Black Level If a DVD player or set-top box is connected to the product via HDMI, image quality degradation (contrast/ color degradation, black level, etc.) may occur, depending on the connected source device. In such case, HDMI Black Level can be used to adjust the image quality. If this is the case, correct the degraded picture quality using HDMI Black Level. 4.9.1 Configuring the HDMI Black Level Settings 1 Press any button on the front of the product to display the Key guide.

7 7.5 Setup and Reset Off Timer Setting The off timer can be set within a range of 1 to 23 hours. The product will automatically power off after the specified number of hours. This menu is available only when Off Timer On/Off is set to On. 7.5.1 Configuring Off Timer Setting 1 Press any button on the front of the product to display the Key guide.
