Troubleshooting

If these instructions do not solve your problem, contact your
nearest Samsung authorized service center.
Symptom Explanation/Solution
You cannot switch the
DVD Camcorder on.

Check the Battery Pack or the AC Power
adapter.
The DVD Camcorder
shuts off automatically.

You have left the DVD Camcorder set to
STBY for more than 5 minutes without
using it. To turn on the DVD Camcorder,
press the [Start/Stop] button.

The Battery Pack is fully exhausted. Replace it
with a fully charged battery pack.
Charge runs out
quickly.

The atmospheric temperature is too low.

The Battery Pack has not been charged fully.

The Battery Pack is completely dead, and
cannot be recharged, use another Battery Pack.
A vertical strip appears
on the screen when
recording a dark
background.

The contrast between the subject and
the background is too great for the DVD
Camcorder to operate normally. Make the
background bright to reduce the contrast
or use the BLC function while you are
recording in bright Surroundings.
The image in the
Viewfinder is blurred.

The Viewfinder lens has not been adjusted.

Adjust the Viewfinder control lever until
the indicators displayed on the Viewfinder
come into sharp focus.
Auto focus does not
work.

Check the Manual Focus menu.

Auto focus does not work in the Manual
Focus mode.
When the power is
turned off and then
turned on, a blue
screen appears instead
of the normal screen.

If the DC Adapter is connected, remove
the cord, turn on the Power switch, and
then connect it again. If the battery is
connected, disconnect it, turn the Power
switch to on, and then connect it again.


Compruebe la batería o el adaptador de
CA.
La Videocámara
con DVD se apaga
automáticamente.

Ha dejado la Videocámara con DVD en la
posición STBY y sin usarla durante más
de 5 minutos. Encienda la Videocámara
con DVD, presione el botón [Start/Stop].

La batería está completamente
descargada. Cámbiela por una batería
totalmente cargada.
La carga se realiza muy
rápidamente.

La temperatura ambiente es demasiado
baja.

La batería no se ha cargado por completo.

La batería está completamente agotada y
no se puede recargar. Utilice otra batería.
En la pantalla aparece
una línea vertical cuando
se graba sobre un fondo
oscuro.

El contraste entre el objeto y el fondo es
demasiado para que la Videocámara con
DVD funcione normalmente. Ilumine el
fondo para reducir el contraste o utilice la
función BLC mientras graba en entornos
luminosos.
La imagen se ve borrosa
en el visor.

No se ha ajustado la lente del visor.

Desplace la palanca de control del visor
hasta que los indicadores que aparecen
en el visor muestren que está bien
enfocado.
El sistema de enfoque
automático no funciona.

Compruebe el menú Manual Focus.

El enfoque automático no funciona en el
modo de enfoque manual.
Cuando se apaga y se
enciende el dispositivo,
aparece una pantalla
azul en vez de la pantalla
normal.

Si el adaptador de CC está conectado,
quite el cable, encienda el dispositivo y
conéctelo de nuevo. Si está conectada
la batería, desconéctela, encienda el
dispositivo y conéctelo de nuevo.
