Unfinalizing a Disc (Disc Unfinalize)

This function works only in Camera Mode.


If a DVD-RW disc had been finalized in the VR mode or Video
mode, you can unfinalize the disc for further recording.
1. Set the
[Mode] switch to [DISC].
2. Set the [Power] switch to [ (Camera)].
3. Press the
[MENU] button.

The menu list will appear.
4. Move the [Joystick] up or down to select
<Disc Manager>, then press the [Joystick(OK)]
.
5. Move the [Joystick] up or down to select
<Disc Unfinalize>, then press the [Joystick(OK)]
.
6. Move the [Joystick] left or right to select
<Unfinalize>
, then press the [Joystick(OK)].

The <Unfinalizing, please wait...>
message will appear. When unfinalizing is
complete, the <Complete!> message will
appear.
Warning!

The Finalize/Format functions are not
available at battery level and .

During unfinalizing, do not cause impact or
vibration to your DVD camcorder. This could
cause a malfunction.

Si un disco DVD-RW se ha finalizado en modo VR o en modo
Video, puede anular la finalización del disco para poder seguir
grabando.
1. Coloque el interruptor
[Mode] en [DISC].
2. Coloque el interruptor
[Power] en
[ (Camera)].
3. Presione el botón
[MENU].

Aparece la lista del menú.
4. Mueva el
[Joystick] hacia arriba o hacia
abajo para seleccionar <Disc Manager> y
pulse el botón [Joystick(OK)].
5. Mueva el
[Joystick] hacia arriba o hacia
abajo para seleccionar <Disc Unfinalize> y
pulse el botón [Joystick(OK)].
6. Mueva el
[Joystick] a la izquierda o a la
derecha para seleccionar <Unfinalize> y
pulse el botón [Joystick(OK)].

Aparezca el mensaje <Unfinalizing,
please wait...>. Una vez cancelada
la finalización, aparecerá el mensaje
<Complete!>.
Advertencia!

La función Format/Finalize (Formato/
Finalizar) no está disponible en el nivel de
batería o .

Durante la anulación de finalización, no
someta la videocámara con DVD a impactos
ni a vibraciones. Esto podría causar averías.
