Advanced Recording
The EIS function works in CAMERA mode only.
The handshake compensation function, called EIS (Electronic image stabilizer)
compensates for any slight shaking (within reasonable limits),
It provides more stable pictures when:
Recording in theZoom In mode
Recording a small object close-up
Recording and walking at the same time
Recording through the window of a vehicle
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode. (See page 21)
2. Make sure that the EIS function is set to on. (see page 30)
If the EIS is set already, the EIS mark (E'i]_) is displayed in the OSD.
3. If you do not want to use the EIS function, set the EIS function
to off in the MENU. (see page 30)
Note: It is recommended you deactivate the handshake compensation
function when using a tripod.
