Connection and Software Installation

b Install the Software

Insert the provided CD-ROM in
the CD-ROM drive on the PC,
open it, and click SETUP.EXE.
The next screen is displayed.

Follow the instructions on the
screen to install the software.
Three pieces of software are installed:
Keyboard Setup, Keyboard Language,
and Keyboard Maps.

Connect the PC connection
terminal (COM) on the rear
panel of the unit to the PC
serial port, using the computer
connection cable (provided).
Before connecting, make sure all
equipment is turned off, and disconnect
camera communication and video
communication cables.

Turn dipswitch (SW1) ON.

Connect the power source to
the unit, and turn ON the PC.
“DOWNLOAD MODE” appears on the
unit menu display.
After the PC settings are complete,
always return SW1 to its OFF
position.
