To start installation process, select “Yes”, to cancel
select “No”.
• To select the “Yes” or “No” option, highlight the
item by using “
” or “ ” buttons and press the OK
button.
After then, the following OSD will be displayed on
the screen:
If you select CABLE option, the following screen will
be displayed:
You can select frequency ranges from this screen. For
highlighting lines you see, use “ ” or “ ” button. You
can enter the frequency range manually by using the
numeric buttons on the remote control.
• After this operation, you can set Search Step as
8000 KHz or 1000 KHz. If you select 1000 KHz, the
Tv will perform search process in a detailed way.
Searching duration will thus increase accordingly.
When fi nished, press OK button to start automatic
search. Automatic searching screen will be displayed
during the process.
Note: If you select an extended gap between Start
and Stop frequency rate, automatic search duration
will take a longer time.
The integrated cable tuner is only for TV channels in
standard defi nition (SDTV). High resolution (HDTV)
are not supported.
If you select AERIAL option from the Search Type
screen, the digital television will search for digital
terrestrial TV broadcasts:
The IDTV will automatically tune to the UHF or VHF
(** for EU countries) transmission channels, searching
for digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying the
names of channels found. This process will take about
a few minutes. To cancel searching, you can press the
“MENU” button at any time during the process.
Note: If the digital TV fails to store any channels, “No
channels available.” message will be displayed on
the screen.
The integrated DVB-T tuner is only for TV channels in
standard defi nition (SDTV). High resolution (HDTV)
are not supported.
Either you select AERIAL or CABLE option from the
search type menu, after the digital automatic search
is completed, the following message asking for
analogue channel search appears on the screen:
To search for analogue channels, select “Yes”. TV
switches to the analogue TV mode. The menu below
is displayed to search for analogue channels:
Select your Country, Language and Text language
by using “
” or “ ” and “ ” or “ ” buttons. Press
OK or RED button to continue. To cancel, press the
BLUE button.
For more information on this process, see “Install
Menu” section.
Note : For proper functioning of digital teletext in DTV
mode, you should set country as UK in analogue
AUTO PROGRAM (for UK only).
General Operation
Press the “SOURCE” button and select DTV/USB
from the list. The TV then switches to digital TV
mode.
