Circuit Breaker Operation
How to reset a mid-tripped circuit breaker
The circuit breaker is at a mid-trip state when the
actuator is partially extended from the circuit
breaker, but not fully extended, as if it had been
turned off manually. Pushing the actuator in while
in mid-trip state will not reset the breaker. The
circuit breaker needs to be fully extended before it
can be reset. To fully extend the circuit breaker:
1. Insert a small slotted screwdriver or other tool
into the hole located above the word “OFF”.
2. Push the lower part of the actuator in gently
until the upper part “clicks” out.
How to reset a circuit breaker
The circuit breaker is ready to be reset when the
actuator is fully extended. Quickly and forcefully
push the circuit breaker actuator into the PDU to
reset the breaker.

Note
Before resetting the circuit breaker you
should determine the cause of the fault
and remedy the fault before resetting
the circuit breaker. If the fault is not
removed, the breaker will trip again as
soon as it is reset.
