Correctseatplacementencouragesexerciseefficiencyandcomfort,whilereducingtherisk
ofinjury.
1.WithaPedalintheforwardposition,centertheballofyourfootoverthe
centerofit.Yourlegshouldbebentslightlyattheknee.
2.IfyourlegistoostraightoryourfootcannottouchthePedal,movethe
seatdownontheuprightbikeorforwardontherecumbentbike.Ifyour
legisbenttoomuch,movetheseatupontheuprightbikeorbackward
ontherecumbentbike.
3.Adjusttheuprightseatheightbyfirstdismountingthebike,thenpull
theadjustmentknobontheseattube.Adjusttheseattothedesired
height.Releasetheadjustmentknob,whichengagesthelockingpin.Be
surethatthepinisfullysecured.Toadjusttherecumbentseat,pullthe
adjustmentknob.Slidetheseattothedesiredposition.Theadjustment
knobwill“pop”intothenexthole.Besuretoturntheknobtobesure
ofasecurefit.
FootPosition/PedalStrapAdjustment
Footpedalswithstrapsprovidesecurefootingtotheexercisebike.
1.PuttheballofeachfootonthePedals.
2.RotatethePedalsuntilonecanbereached.
3.Fastenthestrapovertheshoe.
4.Repeatfortheotherfoot.
BesuretoesandkneespointdirectlyforwardtoensuremaximumPedalefficiency.Pedal
strapscanbeleftinpositionforsubsequentworkouts.
