Correctseatplacementencouragesexerciseefficiencyandcomfort,whilereducingtheriskofinjury.
1.WithaPedalintheforwardposition,centertheballofyourfootoverthecenterofit.Yourlegshould
bebentslightlyattheknee.
2.IfyourlegistoostraightoryourfootcannottouchthePedal,movetheseatdownontheuprightbike
orforwardontherecumbentbike.Ifyourlegisbenttoomuch,movetheseatupontheuprightbike
orrearwardontherecumbentbike.
Stepoffthebikebeforeyouadjusttheseat.
Uprightbike—pulltheadjustmentknobontheseattube.Adjusttheseattothedesiredheight.Releasethe
adjustmentknobtoengagethelockingpin.Besurethatthepinisfullyengaged.Tomovetheuprightseatcloser
to,orawayfromtheconsole,loosentheknob.Slidetheseatforwardorrearwardtothedesiredpositionand
tightentheknob.
Recumbentbike—pulltheadjustmentknobontheseatbracket.Slidetheseattothedesiredposition.The
adjustmentknobwill“pop”intothenexthole.Turntheknobtofullytightenandmakesuretheseatisstable.
