Enhanced 9-1-1 (E 9-1-1) Information
ThisphonefeaturesanembeddedGlobalPositioningSystem(GPS)chipnecessaryforutilizingE
9-1-1emergencylocationserviceswhereavailable.
Whenyouplaceanemergency9-1-1call,theGPSfeatureofyourphoneseeksinformationto
calculateyourapproximatelocation.Dependingonseveralvariables,includingavailabilityand
accesstosatellitesignals,itmaytakeupto30secondsormoretodetermineandreportyour
approximatelocation.
Important:Alwaysreportyourlocationtothe9-1-1operatorwhenplacinganemergencycall.Some
designatedemergencycalltakers,knownasPublicSafetyAnsweringPoints(PSAPs),maynotbeequipped
toreceiveGPSlocationinformationfromyourphone.
Receive Phone Calls
Thefollowinginformationletsyouknowhowtoanswerincomingcalls,mutetheringeronincoming
calls,rejectincomingcalls,andmore.
Whenyoureceiveaphonecallfromacontact,theIncomingcallscreenappearsanddisplaysthe
callerIDicon,name,andphonenumberofthecallingparty.Whenyoureceiveaphonecallfrom
someonewhoisnotstoredinPeople,onlythedefaultcallerIDiconandphonenumberappearon
theIncomingcallscreen.
Note: Ifyourphoneisturnedoff,allcallsautomaticallygotovoicemail.
Answer an Incoming Call

Mute the Ringing Sound
n Tomutetheringerwithoutrejectingthecall,presstheVolume Up/Down Button.
Reject an Incoming Call

Drag to torejectit.Thecallwillbesentdirectlytovoicemail.
Reject a Call and Send a Text Message
Youcanrejectanincomingcallandautomaticallysendatextmessagetothecaller.
