Various settings
Change connectivity settings such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

In the home screen, [R]/[Settings]/[Wireless & networks]

Select an item
Flight mode: Restricts the use of all functions which require network communication, such as calls/mail functionality.
Wi-Fi: Enable Wi-Fi function.
Wi-Fi settings: For details nP. 11
Home network settings: For details nP. 38
Bluetooth: Activate Bluetooth function.
Bluetooth settings: For details nP. 36
Portable hotspot: For details nP. 24
VPN settings: Set and manage VPN.
Mobile networks: For details nP. 24
Tethering function is available by Wi-Fi connection.
Set the phone to the access point (base unit) and connect the Wi-Fi compatible device (sub unit) to use services such as playing games.
You can connect to up to five Wi-Fi compatible devices simultaneously.

Portable Wi-Fi hotspot: Enable the portable access point.
Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings: Set the portable access point settings such as network SSID and security.
• [Configure Wi-Fi hotspot]/set each item/[Save] to set Wi-Fi hotspot. Set security setting if necessary. The security setting supports WPA2 PSK.

Data enabled: Enable data communication.
Data roaming: Set to use packet communication abroad.
Access Point Names: Set an access point.
Use only 2G networks: Set to use only 2G networks.
Network operators: Search for available networks and set.
Change call settings such as voicemail and call forwarding.

Fixed Dialling Numbers: Enable/Disable and set FDN.
Voicemail service: Select a service provider.
Voicemail settings: Set Voicemail number.
Accounts: Set an account for internet calling.
Use Internet calling: Set whether to use internet calling.
Call forwarding: Set the call forwarding service according to your given situations.

Caller ID: Set whether to display caller ID on the other party’s phone when you make a call.
Call waiting: Set whether to use the call waiting service.
Wireless & networks
[Flight mode]
When SIM card lock is enabled, you cannot make an emergency call in Flight mode. When SIM card lock is disabled, you can make an emergency call while in Flight
mode. If you call the emergency number, Flight mode will be disabled and the call will be made.
[VPN settings]
VPN (Virtual Private Network) allows you to connect securely to a virtual dedicated line on the network at home or in the office between a remote location and a
business/home network.
