Polaris Office
Polaris Oce is divided into a word processor, spreadsheet editor, presentation editor, and a le viewer. It is capable of
reading and exporting in Microsoft Oce le formats, viewing PDF and image les, and decompressing ZIP les.
Opening Polaris Office
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris Office.

Enter your name and e-mail address > Register.

The rst time you use the Polaris Oce , you are prompted to register. You are not requested to register again after the
registration process is completed. If you don’t want to register, tap
Later.

My folders, Recent documents, Favorites and Box.net are displayed.

On the My folders screen, you can view the documents stored on the microSD card.
ⰺ
On the Recent documents screen, you can view the documents recently used.
ⰺ
On the Favorites screen, you can view the documents listed in Favorites.
ⰺ
Tap and hold the document you want to add it to Favorites > tap Add to favorites.
ⰺ
If you register your Box.net account, you can view Box.net documents on your phone and download them to the
microSD card.
Using Box.net
Registering a Box.net Account
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris Office.
2. Tap Box.net. Or press Menu > New > Accounts > tap Box.net.
3. Enter an
e-mail address and Password > Add.
Using the Box.net
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris Office.
2. Tap Box.net.

Box.net document lists are displayed.

To download a document, tap the le you want > OK > nd to the desired folder location and tap Select.

To upload a le from the microSD card to Box.net, press Menu > Upload > Tap the desired folder location >
Tap the le you want to upload.
Viewing a document
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris Office.
2. Tap My folders, Recent documents, Favorites > Navigate to the desired le.

Supported formats-Microsoft Word 97-2007 (.doc & .docx), Microsoft Excel 97-2007 (.xls & .xlsx), Microsoft PowerPoint
97-2007 (.ppt & .pptx), Adobe PDF, Text (.txt), Web pages (.html), Hansoft Hangul 97-3.0, 2002-2007 (.hwp), Image les
(Bitmap, GIF, JPEG, PNG, WBMP, and WMF), Zip archives.

Double tap to Zoom in or out when viewing a le. The pages panel appears at the left top. (Depending on le formats,
the menu may vary.) Drag across the screen to view specic areas of the document.
