Accounts & sync
Background data Set whether applications can sync, send and receive data at any time.
Auto-sync Allow applications to sync data automatically.
Manage accounts Lists the Google accounts and other accounts you’ve added to the phone.
If you tap an account, its account screen opens.
Privacy
Back up my data Allow settings and other application data to be backed up to Google servers.
Automatic restore Allow settings or other data to be restored from Google servers if an application is reinstalled.
Factory data reset Erases all data on phone.
This will erase all data from your phone, including: your Google account, system and application data
and settings, downloaded applications. And it will not erase: current system software and bundled
applications, SD card les, such as music or photos.
SD card & phone storage
Total space Check the total space of SD card.
Available space Check the available space on SD card.
Unmount SD card Unmount the SD card for safe removal.
If you unmount the SD card, some applications you are using will stop and may be unavailable until you
remount the SD card.
Format SD card This will erase all data from the SD card. You must unmount an SD card before you can format it.
Available space Check the available space on internal phone storage.
Language & keyboard
Select language Select the language to use for the text on your phone.
Swype/ Swype

Set Swype as a keyboard option.

User dictionary Add or delete the words suggested when entering text.

Text-to-speech
settings
Select Listen to an example, Always use my settings, (Default Engine, Install voice data, Speech rate,
Language), (Pico TTS setting). In order to use the text-to-speech feature, voice data must be downloaded
from the Android Market to your phone’s SD Card. Select the Install voice data menu item to install Text-to-
speech data.
