WARRANTY
All machines manufactured by Sharp have a 12-month warranty period from the DATE OF PURCHASE from
Sharp. The cost of any parts changed during that period due to a manufacturing defect can be claimed back
from Sharp. Resellers must order a replacement part from the Sharp parts centre, and then complete the online
warranty claim at https://eservice.sharp.eu
. Warranty claims will only be accepted online.
All authorised resellers are provided with a user ID and password. This ID must be used when completing any
warranty claim. All details must be completed, and for your own tracking purposes ensure a unique alphanumeric
reference is on all claims. If you do not know your warranty account number or how to complete a claim please
email serviceoperations.seg@sharp.eu
including your full company details.
Please be aware that Items not covered by warranty are modifications, sales items, consumables, exteriors,
lamps and fuses.
Any printed circuit boards fitted within 12months of sale must be sent to the Technical Support Team at Stockley
Park for testing prior to any claim being authorised, if the board is faulty the authority code will be supplied, if the
board tests as no fault found it will be returned without an authority code so unable to complete the claim.
Non Sharp manufactured products such as Fiery products have a 3-month hardware warranty from the DATE OF
PURCHASE from Sharp.
Plockmatic products have a 12-month warranty from DATE OF PURCHASE from Sharp. Plockmatic items not
covered by warranty are any staple heads or trimmer blades. GBC Smartpunch has a 12month or 500,000 cycle
warranty (whichever is shorter) FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE from Sharp. Smartpunch items not covered by
warranty are Die sets, belts and rollers.
FAULTY AS NEW
The reseller must repair “Faulty as New” units and claim for defective parts using the warranty system.
