Playback Before: Turn on the TV, amplifier and any other equipments which are connected to this unit. Make sure the TV and audio receiver (commercially available) are set to the correct channel.When you play NTSC recorded discs, the default setting converts this to a modified PAL. (See page 19 “DISPLAY Setting”.

Hint • The setting will be kept even if the unit is turned off. • On Audio CDs and Video CDs, Virtual Surround will not be effective if the sound mode is set to something other than “STEREO”.
