The GP2Y0D02YK is a standard type distance
measuring sensor (long distance type) in which a
PSD(*), an infrared emitting diode and a signal
processing circuit are integrated.
This sensor is resistant to the effects of colors in
reflected objects, reflectivity and ambient
brightness, and it can measure distances with high
accuracy.
*PSD: Position Sensitive Detector

(1) Less influence on the colors of reflected
objects and their reflectivity.
(2) Distance judgement type
Maximum measurable distance: 80cm
(Detection range: 20 to 150cm)
(3) An external control circuit is not necessary.
Output can be connected directly to a
microcomputer.
(1) For detection of human body and various types
of objects in home appliances, OA equipment,
etc.
