Basic adjustment settings
Channel memory setting
Press MENU to display the MENU screen,
and then press 4/1_ to select "Setup".
Press A/V to select "CH Setup", and then
press ENTER.
If you already set the Secret No., input the
4-digit secret number here. See page 40 for
setting a secret number.
Press A/Y to select "CH Memory", and then
press ENTER.
Press A/V to select ANALOG (Air), ANALOG
(Cable), DIGITAL (Air)or DIGITAL (Cable), and
then press ENTER.
When viewing ANALOG broadcasts:
Press _11/_ to select the channel to skip, and
then press V to move down.
Press _11/1_to select "On", and then press
ENTER.
When viewing DIGITAL broadcasts:
Press h,/T to select the channel to skip, and
then press _11/1_to select "On".
On: Skips channels.(Channelselection disabled using CN
A/V.)
Off: Does not skip channels.(Channelselection enabled
using ON A/V.)
Press MENU to exit.
Make sure what kind of connection is made with your TV.
Press A/V to select "Signal Strength".
The signal strength of DIGITAL channel is
displayed. The signal information is based on
the current channel.

Press MENU to exit.
Channel Strength
The channel signal strength can also be checked
separately.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 in Signal Strength in
Antenna Setup - DIGITAL.
Press A/Y to select "Channel Strength",
and then press ENTER.
Input the 2-digit channel number to check
the signal strength of the selected channel.
Make sure the signal is strong enoughfor each
channel.
In order to receive digital air broadcasts, you need a
digital broadcast antenna. You can confirm the antenna
configuration through the "Antenna Setup - DIGITAL"
screen.
If necessary, adjust the direction of the antenna to
obtain the maximum signal strength.
Signal Strength
Press MENU to display the MENU screen,
and then press 4/1_ to select "Setup".
Press A/Y to select "Antenna Setup -
DIGITAL", and then press ENTER.
Press MENU to exit.
This function is available for DIGITAL (Air) only.
