-Recording from a Microphone-

Sound-actuated recording (Mic
Synchronised recording)
The unit automatically pauses when the microphone
does not pick up any sound for 3 seconds or more.
(Pause function does not work for approximately 10 sec-
onds after a recording starts.) When the microphone
picks up sound again, recording starts automatically.
Cancel the setting for trace-back recording.
Notes:

Synchronised recording cannot be set with trace-
back recording. Cancel trace-back recording (page
35).

If the unit starts recording from low unwanted noises
too often, set the microphone input to "MIC SYNC L
(Low)".

Press the REC button.
Recording is paused.

To perform group recording, hold down the
GROUP button for 2 seconds or more so that
"GR" is lit.
When group recording is not performed, hold down the
GROUP button for 2 seconds or more so that "GR" goes
out.

Press the or button to adjust the recording
level (page 17).

Press the MENU button.
The unit enters the menu select mode.

MIC SYNC H (High):
Recording starts when the unit detects -24 dB or more
(the unit can start recording from quiet sounds).
MIC SYNC L (Low):
Recording starts when the unit detects -12 dB or more.
