Security settings
Setting a high level of security
When this setting is enabled, the security-related settings of the device are
all changed to a high level of security, and user authentication will become
necessary for all functions. In addition, it will no longer be possible to change
some security-related settings, and the functions of the machine may be
limited.
The main function constraints are as follows:
l The user authentication function is always enabled.
l Print jobs are always set to hold print status, and print operations need to
be carried out at the operation panel.
l Transmission functions which do not include encryption cannot be used.
l If the Sharp OSA function was being used, it can no longer be used.
Note:
To set a high level of security, make the following setting.
Tap "Settings (Administrator)" > "Security Settings" > "Security Control" >
"Advanced Security Settings".
For machine operations which are required for this status, refer to the included
notice.
