SETTING MODE►SYSTEM SETTINGS
Network Name Setting
Device Name
Enter a device name.
Domain Name
Enter the domain name.
Comment
Enter a comment.
Interface Settings
Select the general network settings.
The TCP/IP information can be set.
Connection Type
Switch between [Wired Only], [Wired+Wireless (Access Point Mode)], or [Wireless (Infrastructure Mode)] to suit the
network connection status.
Keep Wireless Access Point activated
This can only be enabled if the "Connection Type" is [Wired+Wireless (Access Point Mode)].
If enabled, the machine can normally use a wireless LAN network.
If disabled, the NFC touch point area (on the MX-M3071/MX-M3071S/MX-M3571/MX-M3571S/MX-M4071/MX-M4071S/
MX-M5071/MX-M5071S/MX-M6071/MX-M6071S) or the NFC card reader (on the MX-M2651/MX-M3051/MX-M3551/
MX-M4051/MX-M5051/MX-M6051) must be touched to the mobile device or the [Easy Connect (QR code)] key must be
tapped in the home screen to enable wireless LAN.
When one of the conditions below occurs, the wireless LAN connection is automatically cancelled.
When there is no connection to the access point for a certain period of time.
IPv4 Settings
When using the machine on a TCP/IP (IPv4) network, use this setting to configure the IP address of the machine.
DHCP
Use this setting to have the IP address obtained automatically using DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) v6.
When this setting is enabled, it is not necessary to manually enter an IP address.
IPv4 Address
Enter the IP address of the machine.
Subnet Mask
Enter the IP subnet mask.
Default Gateway
Enter the default gateway address.
IPv6 Settings
When using the machine on a TCP/IP (IPv6) network, use this setting to configure the IP address of the machine.
IPv6
Enable this setting.
If DHCP/BOOTP is used, the IP address assigned to the machine may change automatically. If the IP address changes,
printing will not be possible.
