RENA.

Explanation:

• The

file

name change specifies

the

current filename and the new filename, in that

order.

• The new

file

name becomes an error if a

file

of the same name exists

in

that device.

Example:

RENAME

"F01:

OLOPROG",

"NEWPROG"

..... The filename

"OLDPROG"

in the floppy disk

file

is

changed to "NEWPROG".
