Tablet Settings

You can register settings for the various functions while
checking the energy saving effect (Eco level) available when
enabling Energy save.
If you enable Energy save, the registered settings are applied
and you can save the battery power. You can also set to switch
to Energy save according to the battery level and the time.

& energy saving]/[Energy saving settings]

1 Energy save
Switch to Energy save.
2 Edit
Set the functions to save energy for individually such as
Energy saving standby.
3 Switch by batt.
Set whether to switch to Energy save when the battery
level reaches the specified level.
4 Battery level to switch
Set the battery level to switch to Energy save at.
5 Switch time
Set whether to switch to Energy save when specified time
arrives.
You can control the apps that operate in the background while
the display is turned off.

Switch to ECO STANDBY.

Set apps to control.
3 Battery usage status
Check the battery usage etc.
You can check the available space on a microSD Card, the
tablet, etc., manage files, etc.

Select an item
 Mount microSD/Unmount microSD: Mount/Unmount the
microSD Card.
 Erase microSD: Format the microSD Card.
 Encrypt microSD/Release microSD encryption: Encrypt/
Decrypt the microSD Card.
 Unmount USB memory: Unmount the USB memory.
 File Management: Manage data saved on the USB memory
etc.
Energy saving settings
When Energy saving standby is set to [ON], it controls the apps
that operate in the background while the display is turned off.
The apps that communicate periodically may not start the
communication even if Energy saving standby is set to [OFF]. In
this case, set the corresponding app again.
Some settings for saving energy are disabled during charging.
When [Energy save] is enabled by Switch by batt.
[Energy save] is not disabled even when the time set for Switch
time arrives.
[Energy save] is disabled when the battery level exceeds the
battery level to switch.
[Energy save] is not disabled even if [Switch by batt.] is
disabled.

[Unmount microSD]
Unmount the microSD Card before removing it.
[Erase microSD]
Note that all the data on the microSD Card will be deleted when
formatted.
[Encrypt microSD], [Release microSD encryption]
Carry out the operations while charging the battery with its
battery level still left sufficiently.
Set Screen lock to Lock No. or Password in advance
(nP. 71 “Lock & security”).
When the available space on the microSD Card is insufficient,
encryption/decryption is not available.
Data on the encrypted microSD Card is not available in devices
other than the tablet used for encrypting it.
You can use the microSD Card that has been encrypted as
usual by decrypting it.
Note that when you have carried out Reset all with microSD
Card encrypted, you cannot use the data on the microSD Card.
Release the encryption before carrying out Reset all.
If you insert a microSD Card into the tablet that has been used
for encrypting another microSD Card, the tablet can only read
data on it.
The tablet can write data into the read-only microSD Card after
encrypting the microSD Card.
Encrypting/Decrypting a microSD Card may take time. Do not
stop charging the battery or do not remove the microSD Card
while it is being encrypted. Data on it may be lost if the
encryption is interrupted.
