Sharp’s J-Tech Inverter
refrigerator models are
extremely efficient using a controlled, gradual 36 step compressor
rotation in accordance with the usage of the refrigerator providing
high performance and advanced temperature control. The
Japanese Inverter technology provides lower energy consumption,
even internal temperature, faster freezing and quiet operation.
The J-Tech Inverter also supports additional features including the
Extra Cool and Express Freeze functions. By selecting the Extra
Cool setting, drinks and fruit items can be thoroughly chilled to
0-2°C without freezing in the Extra Cool compartments for up to
6 hours. The 2 hour Express Freeze function assists with
speeding the freeze time of fresh foods and increasing the ice
making time by up to 35%. These modes will automatically end
after the operation time.

Plasmacluster Ion
The Sharp patent Plasmacluster Ion Technology
is effective in reducing airborne bacteria and mould
spores. Releasing positive and negative ions from
vents inside the refrigerator cavity, these surround
the cell membrane to help reduce cell reproduction. The result
is a longer lasting freshness of the food in the refrigerator.
The advanced LED Touch Control panel
allows easy access to the refrigerator
modes for temperature control and
temperature rise indicator, vacation mode,
child lock, energy save mode and
express freezing.
Sharp’s French Door range features the
Unique Opening mechanism technology.
This allows the doors to slide smoothly
sideways when opened and closed as no
mullion is required and friction between
the doors is eliminated, creating the
perfect seal.
Sharp’s Hybrid Cooling system acts as a
barrier and slows down the airflow whilst
maintaining a cold surface. This helps
to reduce moisture removal to prevent
overcooling, temperature fluctuations
and excessive dryness.
ECO mode reduces the power
consumption by setting the inside
temperature higher than the preset
temperature by approximately 1°C
(refrigerator) and 2°C (freezer).

Sharp’s in-built AG+ Nano and AG
CU Nano Deodoriser systems contain
nano-sized molecules designed to
trap odour molecules when air passes
through the filter. The deodoriser
also prevents transmission of odours
between food items and keeps cooled
air clean and bacteria-free.
As well as the effectiveness of
Plasmacluster Ion technology,
Sharp also combine an efficient
deodorising and cooling system to keep
food fresher for longer.
