including generator, rectifier, rectifier diode, etc. Through this test, we can know
that the output voltage of the generator, the rectifier diode, and the charging
current is normal or not respectively.
1. Connect one end of the included diagnostic cable to the DB15 diagnostic
connector, and the other end to the vehicle’s DLC port.
2. Plug one end of the battery cable clamps into the circular connector of the
tool. Clamp the BLACK and RED clips of the battery cable clamps on the
Negative (-) and Positive (-) terminals of the vehicle battery respectively.
Note: The cable connector is keyed and will only fit one way. If you have problems
connecting the cable connector to the circular connector, rotate it 180
°
and try again.
3. Tap Battery -> In-car inspection on the tool.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to fill the vehicle information and tap Next to
continue until the battery test is complete.
5. Tap Next and follow the on-screen prompts to do other tests until the whole
test is completed.
Precautions on battery test
The accuracy of battery voltage, charging voltage, start voltage is 0.01V in test
results; CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) precision is 5CCA.
Generally, charging voltage value is greater than starting voltage.
Charging voltage range is as follows: 13.8-14.5V for domestic vehicle;
