5.6 Hierarchical level: ZONE (controls)
The CONTROL ZONE level is responsible for activating the affiliated control elements
based on predetermined decision criteria. The term ‘Zone’ (controls) corresponds to the
term Control zone in the DMS7000.
5.6.1 Structure 1651: Switching zone
Based on the evaluation of the affiliated digital detection devices the affiliated control
elements are activated. This zone type is principally used in the local area of the CC11.
