At that point, you will be prompted how you wish to handle this situation, and you can

proceed in two ways:

1. Continuing with the installation (recommended) and skipping the installation of that

software package. A higher version of the prerequisite software is already installed

and is most likely compatible with MK8000. Once the installation has completed,

you will be able to check the behaviour of the MK8000 software to ensure that it

functions properly.

2. Stopping the current installation, then uninstalling the prerequisite software and

finally starting the DMS8000 installation all over again. Note, however, that this

approach may affect the behaviour of other software packages that rely on the

higher version of the prerequisite software.

In case of difficulties or doubts, please contact customer support.

3.4.2 Software set-up

1. In the welcome page, click Next to start or Cancel to abort.

2. In the Folder selection page, click Next to confirm the default location.

Unless you specify another directory (by clicking Browse and selecting a folder),

the files are installed in

C:\Program files\DMS8000

Note that, in this document, the installation folder location will be referred as

<installation folder>.

Be aware that Program files may spell differently depending on the national edition

of Windows.
