3.4.13.3 Batch commands
The folder:
<installation folder>\Utilities\Bat
contains the following batch procedures:
NK8210ConfigurationTool.exe
This program initialises the IIS (Internet Information Service) for the NK8000 Web
Server to work. It should be used when the IIS software is installed after MK8000 and
requires a specific initialisation. The program should be started with a parameter (“-i” or
“–u”):
NK8210ConfigurationTool –i (to configure ISS for NK8000 Web Server)
NK8210ConfigurationTool –u (to remove the NK8000 Web Server configuration from
IIS)
Start/Stop servers
Start_system.bat – Start servers
START_Server.exe - Start Server application
STOP_Server.exe - Stop Server application
After MK8000 software installation, Start and Stop commands are available on the
desktop, where two shortcuts are created, named
Start Server
and
Stop Server
,
respectively.
3.4.13.4 Registry scripts
The directory:
<installation folder>\Utilities\Reg
contains various registry-setting scripts. Only a few of them can be useful to you.
Namely:
DCOM XP Log
DCOMXPLogEnable.reg
DCOMXPLogDisable.reg
Enabling or disabling the event logs of DCOM call failures.
Refer to Microsoft documentation about the
CallFailureLoggingLevel
registry key.
Communication event logging (technical support use only)
EventLog_Router_Drivers.reg
Enable the event logging of communication and routing layers. Setting this mode will
result in a large part of Windows event logs being used for MK8000 technical
messages.
Do not enable this mode unless explicitly instructed by technical support.
