NK8000 communication log file (technical support use only)

 NK8210 - LogFileYes.reg

 NK8210 - LogFileNo.reg

Enable/disable the disk file logging of NS8210 driver. Do not enable this mode unless

explicitly instructed by FS DMS support.

The log files are created in the folder:

<installation folder>\Communication Layer\Driver NS8210

and they are named according to a scheme that includes the creation date and time

stamp:

NK8210Log_ddmmyy_hhmmss.txt

, e.g.:

NK8210Log_021604_112449.txt

The file format is CSV () and includes the fields shown in the short extract:

WARNING

Enabling the file logging can result in a large amount of disk space being used for

technical logs.

Composer debug mode (technical support use only)

 ST_DebugYes.reg

 ST_DebugNo.reg

Set/reset the Composer debug mode for special technical tests. Default is no debug

mode. Do not set this mode unless explicitly instructed by technical support.

WARNING

Setting debug mode can result in a large amount of disk space being used for

technical logs.

Enable/Disable SiPass automatic connection in Composer

 STSiPass AutoConnection_Disable.reg

 STSiPass AutoConnection_Enable.reg

The automatic connection to the SiPass server from the related Composer page can

be disabled so that a Connect command is required for any connection. This can

speed up operations if the (possibly time consuming) connection is not required.

If the

AutoConnection

is enabled (default), the Connect command is required only once

to define the SiPass server network path and then the connection starts automatically

when the Composer page is selected.
