4.3 MK8000 Communication drivers
On the MK8000 Stand-alone and FEP stations, you need to add the drivers that
provide the communication services for the OPC server. Several types of drivers are
available, and you should select them according to the actual connections to be made
with network devices and control units.
MK8000 network drivers
The drivers are organised in groups (channel or manager); the list includes:
Serial channel (Channel), including:
NS8010 Cerloop (ISO1745) Driver
used for connections to MK7022, CS11 (via CK11), FC700A (via FG700A).
NS8011 BACnet Driver
used for connections to FS20, DESIGO PX, and BACnet units in general.
NS8012 CDI-Net Driver
used for serial connections to NK82xx devices and GWxx gateways.
NS8210 NK8000 Driver
used for Ethernet connections to NK82xx devices.
NS8013 SPC Driver
used for connections to SPC control units.
NS8014 SI410 Driver
used for connections to Sintony control units.
NS8015 Fire CNDL Driver
used for connections to FC330A/CC1115 control units.
Video Network Manager, including:
TELSCAN Video Driver
used for connections to TELSCAN video web servers.
SISTORE Video Driver
used for connections to SISTORE Video Digital Recorders.
SiPass Driver
used for connecting to the SiPass Access Control application.
4.3.1 Adding the network drivers
Note: For each station, you only need to include each driver that is used once,
regardless of the actual number of physical connections. Also, it is better not to add
drivers which are not used and would only make the project larger.
On the MK8000 Stand-alone station, do the following:
1. Select MK8000 system > Physical Configuration > Stand-alone station.
The serial Channel is defined by default.
2. If necessary, add the following clicking the corresponding icons on the left:
-
Video Network Manager
-
SiPass Driver
