15. After that, using the form prepared at step 0 above, check and possibly correct

the “Client settings” associated to each user group.

16. If the projects include graphic maps, you will need to update their format.

Select the node “Graphic maps” and click ‘Update’

17. The update procedure will proceed for some minutes, depending on the size of

the project. Wait for the procedure to complete.

18. Close Composer.

19. Reset the Composer “Debug mode” launching the utility:

C:\MM8000\Utilities\Reg\ST_DebugNo.reg

3.2 Migrating from MP2.21

The migration from release MP2.21 is very much the same as what described

above for MP2.20. However, if NK8000 (CDI-WAN) was used in a MP2.21 project,

then you need to change the NK8223 model that has been changed in MP2.30 and

later.

This implies that, before uninstalling MP2.21, you have to delete the NK8223 sub-

systems and then backup the project.

 Before deleting the NK8223 units, take note of their connection links.

Then, after the update procedure to MP2.31 has completed, you will need to insert

the NK8223 in the configuration structure and link the connection ports again.
