Auto Power Off
If not used for a predetermined amount of time, the camera will be turned
off automatically. To take or review pictures again, it is necessary to turn
the camera back on.

• The LCD Sleep and Auto Power Off can be set from [ Camera
Settings] (P.2 6 ) → [LCD Sleep] or [Auto Power Off].

icon is the recommended setting for conserving the electronic
power.
TIP
• To disable LCD Sleep, set [ LCD Sleep ] to [ Off ].
• To disable Auto Power Off, set [ Auto Power Off ] to [ Off ].
WARNING !!
• [Auto Power Off] setting has priority over the [LCD Sleep] setting.
When you set [ LCD Sleep ] to [ ５ min. ] and [ Auto Power Off ] to [ 1
min. ], the camera will be turned off if not used for 1 minute.
POWER SAVE MODE
When the predetermined time of [LCD Sleep] has passed, the color LCD
monitor will be turned off automatically and, at the same time, the
electronic power to the image sensor is also cut. This enables the
camera to conserve electronic power.
• Set to [On
] from [ Camera Settings] (P. 2 6) → [Power Save
Mode] .
WARNING !!
• When [Power Save Mode] is set to [On ], it will take
approximately two seconds to turn the LCD monitor back on.
