1Onapurseseine,youcansetupthesystemtoshow
youtheactualdifferencebetweenthedepthandheight
values.Theseshouldneverbe0,becausethatwould
meanthatthefootropeistouchingthebottom.To
monitorthis,setHeightreferencetoDepth.
2Theheightsensormeasuresthedistancefromthe
headropetothebottom.Ifyouusetheechosounder
inthePIsystem,setHeightreferencetoBottom,and
theheightmarkerwillfollowthebottomcontour.With
correcttimedelayyouwillthenseethetrawlin“true
motion”.
3IfyoucannotusethePIechosounder,setHeight
referencetoSurface.Theheightisnowshownusing0
mdepthasreference.Thedistancefromthe0meter
lineanddowntothemarkerlineisthenthecurrent
heightofthegear.
