•Ifyoursensorcanbefastcharged,thechargerwill
alsochecktheinternaltemperatureofthesensor.The
temperatureisshownonthe“thermometer”onthe
charger’sfrontpanel.Ifyouchargeasensorthatcannot
befastcharged,this“thermometer”doesnotwork.
4Observethechargetimesandtemperaturelimitations!
•Fastcharge:ThePIChargerwillrstrechargethe
sensorbatteryforapproximatelyonehourtoreach70%
batterycapacity,thenapproximatelythreehourstoreach
100%capacity.Oncefullycharged,aconstanttrickle
chargewillcompensateforselfdischarging.

FastchargingonlyappliestoPIsensors!
•Normalcharge:ThePIChargerwillrstrechargethe
sensorbatteryfor16hoursforfullbatterycapacity.This
modeappliesforchargingPIsensorsoutsidespecied
temperaturerange,andforallPSsensors.
•Chargingmustonlytakeplacewithinthespecied
temperaturerange.Forbestresults,keeptheambient
temperaturebetween+10and+25°C.
Note
Donotchargesensorsintemperaturesabove+50°Cor
below0°C!
WARNING
Chargingasensoratsubzerotemperaturemight
developexplosivegasesrepresentingapotential
danger.Simradassumesnoliabilityforimproper
charging,ortheuseofotherchargersthanthose
approvedbyus.
